![]() I stopped playing overwatch a long time ago, but apparently this is a default sub deep within the front page so here I am. I work in the most covid infected hospital in Chicago as well, for what it's worth. It didn't definitively state anything about whether contracting the virus again was possible or not, but they don't think that's what is causing this to happen. The only thing about south korea I saw was an article talking about how some people would test positive for the virus, recover then test negative, then later test postive again. But again they're not sure what percentage of people who contract the disease will have immunity, or for how long. They're saying it's likely that some level of immunity will be granted based on past corona-viruses like Sars. This article is the most recent one I found (published 2 days ago) and it's still saying things are unconclusive. It's possible it works the same way as the flu shot, which only really protects you for a season. I know it’s a bit preachy, but I do hope you keep this in mind the next time you find yourself in a position to teach, even if it’s the simplest thing.Ĭould you send me a link to an article stating this? I haven't been able to find anything from my limited googling.Įverything I'm reading seems to suggest that it's still uncertain how much protection having the virus will give you from being re-infected.įrom the article above, in one study they're saying that 30% of Chinese subjects who contracted the virus have little-to-no anti-bodies in their system.Īnd even among those who do have a significant number antibodies, they're not sure how long the immunity will last. Regardless of their reason, I believe ppl should be able to learn and ask questions without being made fun of. Some things definitely come easier to others. There are other native English speakers where double negatives are a confusing topic for them. There are also younger redditors here who may not quite understand medical terms. There are ppl on here where English isn’t their first language. There are all sorts of ppl out there in different situations and if you’re in a position to teach, you should, without making others feel stupid. The fact that ppl don’t understand a concept you find simple shouldn’t be disappointing, and you shouldnt act flabbergasted. ![]() It’ll be like if a 20 year old don’t know that 2+2=4. Its a simple concept to you, and you’re not sure why some people don’t get it. I’m going to start off by saying I understand where you’re coming from. You’re definition is a little off but others have explained what this actually means so I’ll skip that.
